In 1998, C.B. created AutolocPro. A CRM able to store information about complexe products: cars. An offer for a leasing company contains hundreds of parameters linked together. Brands, Models, Types, Tires, Paintings, Insurances, Maintenance plans are some of the few parameters that are linked together and required to elaborate an offer for the leasing of a car.
Autologic used AutolocPro with success and generated in 6 month more offers than in 3 years. AutolocPro allowed Autologic to produce offers so quickly, that the sales guys where able to answer customers live on the phone. Their business model changed for the best.
That first experience was a shock for C.B. who decided to start to work on a platform, hosted online, that would enable any company to benefit from the technology and that helped Autologic to develop.
In 1999 started the web2soft projects. CRM, hosted online based on "The Tree": a database model able to store any kind of trees. The idea was that for generating custom CRM software for any type of companies, a flexible and generic data model was required. The Tree, today, is pretty much like a NoSql database but still with additional features. The Tree was first employ to store the dynamic data of www.red-club.ch website.
In 2004, C.B. and his partner worked on a Semantic search engine and on the T-ma-Tic project. Some prototype included a feature similar to Google Instant.
In 2008, C.B. and his partner unveiled Peeptoday that was retrieving news, videos from different sources which were updated in real-time in the user's browser.
Now, C.B. is working on a project named RantArena which will certainly bring a lot of innovation and new user experience for social communities.
Innovation in Europe exists and some day, cash to finance them too !
My wish: Europe to finance innovation even if there is no revenue model in place yet ;-)
(don't hesitate to send my your innovations and I will publish them on that page to prove Europe is hot !!)
